I've not been on Deviant Art for some time so I thought that I'd accompany the artwork with a little message!

I've still been working on the drawing and I'll upload some more stuff for peeps to peek at but for now you'll have to make do with some photos from a trip to Dinas Bran I took with my girlfriend a couple of years ago (I was just looking through the photos and am quite happy with them, so I thought I'd share!).

The castle is an amazing place, one of the cooler looking and older ruins still visible in that part of Wales, but it is a fairly rugged trek to get up to the castle - fortunately it was a lovely sunny day while we were there, though there were some overcast moments (as you can see in the photos). I would certainly recommend it as a place to visit if you love castles or historic architecture. Or just fancy a good walk with some amazing views over the town and surrounding countryside at the end!
